Ingredients
- 2 tsp Maeda-en Ceremonial Matcha Powder
- 3 tbsp water
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1/3 cup milk
- 2 tbsp whipping cream
- 1 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 cup milk (for serving)
- Ice
- Extra matcha powder (for garnish)
Directions
1. Whisk matcha powder (2 tsp) with water (3 tbsp) and honey (2 tbsp) until smooth. Set aside.
2. In a separate bowl, mix milk (1/3 cup), whipping cream (2 tbsp), powdered sugar (1 tbsp), and sea salt (1 tsp) until slightly thickened.
3. Fill a glass with ice, pour in milk (1 cup) and the prepared matcha mixture.
4. Gently spoon the sea salt cream on top, sprinkle with extra matcha powder, and serve immediately.
