Our Grower's Sen-cha Reserve is made of first flush leaves, harvest from May to early summer. Leaves are briefly covered from sunlight to maintain its rich flavor.
The result is a Sen-cha with a vivid, grassy aroma and a minimally astringent palate, balanced by subtle sweetness and umami. It's quite the palate pleaser!

Since this tea is delicate, we suggest brewing it in lower temperatures than regular Sen-cha. A tablespoon of leaves, brewed in a cup (8 oz) of hot water (160F to 180F) for 1 to 2 minutes will brew a delicious cup.
